Clyde David Cowsert

Clyde David Cowsert, 74, of Metropolis, IL died Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY.
Survivors include his children, Chris (April) Cowsert of Bethpage, TN and Wendy Cowsert of Metropolis, IL; siblings, Gene (Faye) Cowsert, Carolyn (Charles) Lasater, Janice (Deon) Foster, James L. (Donna) Cowsert, Gary (Phyllis) Cowsert, Sandy Carr, Rose Cowsert and Pam (Dennis) Griffith; grandchildren, Dixie, Jewelia (Chris), Sierra, Jasmine (Zach) and Samuel; 6 great-grandchildren, Wrenly, Lillie, Dawson, Kayden, Alex and Colton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Cowsert; parents, Clyde V. and Frances Jewel Ann Cowsert; and brother-in-law, Charlie Carr.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Cowsert Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m., until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
