Rodney Dean Lewis

Rodney Dean Lewis, age 59, of Marion, Illinois, died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at home in Marion.
Rodney was born September 26, 1964 in Rosiclare, Illinois, a son of Bobby and Barbara June “Bobbie” (Springer) Lewis.
He is survived by his two children, Corey Dean (Holly) Lewis and Stevie Nichole (Taylor) Allred; four grandchildren, Karsyn Grace Lewis, Haedyn Faith Lewis, Kolt Taylor Allred, and Robert Kreid Allred; two brothers-in-law, Bob Jerrels and Fred Simmons; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; and the mother of his children, Jeffie Elaine (Gunter) Lewis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara June “Bobbie” (Springer) and Bobby Dean Lewis; and two sisters, Debra Faye Jerrels and Terry Lee Simmons.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with his cousin, Rev. Greg DeGrave officiating.
