Obituary of Reverend Gordon B. Littrell

Reverend Gordon B. Littrell, 90, of Equality, Illinois, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Hardin County on August 1, 1933.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Eschol Littrell and Goldie Mae (Baylous) Littrell; first wife, Delline (Milliken) Littrell; sister, Mary Evelyn Prince; and brothers, Clarence Weldon Littrell and Leroy Faye Littrell.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Perry) Littrell; step-daughter, Andrea (Doug) Smiddy-Schlagel of Abilene, Texas, step-son, Daniel (Robin) Smiddy of Terre Haute, Indiana; four step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Ruth Schlotta; brother, Russell Glenn Littrell of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; nephews and nieces, John David (Amy) Fox of Moline, Illinois, Michael Kline of Equality, Illinois, Kerry Kline of Los Angeles, California, David James (Heather) Kline of Zephyrhills, Florida, Donald Ray (Debbie Rexing) Prince of Equality, Illinois, Gayla Willis of Eldorado, Illinois, Beth Persinger, Toni Houseworth, Tawana Blackwell, Debby Cansler, Anna Mary Reliford, Shana Littrell, Donnie (Jaclyn Cowsert) Prince, and Robbie (Lynda Morris) Prince of Equality, Illinois.
He was the Founder and Senior Pastor of Shawnee Hills Christian Retreat in Equality.
Funeral Services for Rev. Littrell were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Shawnee Hills Christian Retreat, 2015 Dog Walk Road, Equality, Illinois. Burial followed at the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado, Illinois. Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Shawnee Hills Christian Retreat.
