James Wendell “Peanut” Vaughn, 64, of Elizabethtown, IL died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home in Elizabethtown, IL.
Survivors include his children, Rebecca German of Rosiclare, IL, Daniel Dale of Cave-In-Rock, IL, Chad Joiner of Rosiclare, IL and Marcus Joiner of Rosiclare, IL; grandchildren, Summer, Evalee, James and Brooke, Qwyntyn, Kole, Laviah, Ky-Mani, Earl, Aubrie, Maximus and Alexis; great-grandson, Niklaus; brothers, Jackie Shockley, Johnny Vaughn, and Gary “Tweety” Vaughn; sister, Deanna Lauderdale; nephews, Nicholas and Nathan Shockley, Gary and Brian Vaughn, and Ross Cornell and niece, Ashley Vaughn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Vaughn and Carlene Shockley; and niece, Shannon Raymond.
Private services will be held at a later date.
