Wiley W. Robinson

Wiley William Robinson, 80, of Silva, Missouri, died on Friday, September 1, 2023, surround by his family at home. He was born on June 21, 1943, in Herod, Illinois. Wiley was a long-time member and deacon at the Turkey Creek General Baptist Church.
Wiley is survived by his wife, Margie Joy Robinson of Silva; by his children, Shelia (Steve) Sanders of Clubb, Lee (Amy) Robinson McGee, Sue Ann (Noble) Berrong of Silva, Elizabeth (Doug) Hunter of Highland, IL and Max (Anna) Robinson of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jordan Wood, Jeremiah Wood and Rachal Thompson, Marion Wood, Keisha and Andrew Russell, Kody, Stephanie, Adalynn and Zander Berrong, Tyler Robinson, Jessica, Darian, Liam, MacKenzie and Olivia Sloan, Noah and Megan Berrong, Grace Robinson, Landon Sanders, Tyler, Maddison, Breanna and Bradley Hunter, Abigayle, Lilyan and Emmalynn Robinson; three brothers, Cecil, Deon, and David Robinson; sister, Brenda Diane Raines, all of Southern Illinois; as well as numerous other family members and friends across Missouri and Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Maudie Fricker Robinson; brother, Dolan Robinson; sister, Arlene Robinson Fowler; and son-in-law, Dennis Wood.
Visitation was held Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, MO. Funeral services followed on Monday, September 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home chapel. Burial was at New Prospect Cemetery, Silva, MO.
