Obituary of Bryan Scott Carman

Bryan Scott Carman, age 52, of Golconda, IL passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Scott was born on July 22, 1970 in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Hubert Carman and Bonnie Sue Millis Carman.
Scott was a 1988 graduate of Pope County High School and he was a former member of Carpenters Local 640 in Metropolis, IL and worked various construction job.
He is survived by a son, Dalton Carman; two daughters, Bryona Carman and Dallie Jo Ray Carman; and a grandson, Bryce Carman. He is also survived by his father, Hubert (Charlene) Carman; his brothers, Wesley Carman, Ricky Carman, and Gary (Becky) Carman, and Cord (Sheila) Barger; and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Sue; his paternal grandparents, Everette and Katie Carman; and maternal grandparents, Laurel and Louise Millis; a nephew, Chris Carman; as well as many aunts and uncles.
Scott enjoyed many outdoor activities, but mostly camping and fishing.
Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Burial followed at the Palestine Cemetery near Golconda, IL. Visitation was from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
