William “Bill” Harold Hess and Hazel D. Hess

William “Bill” Harold Hess, 83, and Hazel D. Hess, 78, both of Hill City MN will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at the Lasater-Mott Cemetery located on the Lasater Family Farm in rural Hardin County.
Bill was born on August 13, 1935 to Leroy and Ellen Hess in Oneida County, WI and passed on December 28, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Roxanne; infant son, Lowell; and five brothers.
He was survived by his wife, Hazel; sons, Rolland (Connie), Rodney (Cheryl), William Jr. and James; 7 sisters; 2 brothers; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Hazel was born on September 7, 1944 to Robert and Myrtle Mott Lasater in Sparks Hill, IL. She and Bill married on March 20, 1965.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; step-daughter, Roxanne; sons, Willam Jr. and Lowell; brothers, Jim, Tom, John, and Lowell Deon Lasater; sisters, Helen Dale and Elizabeth “Liz” Pratt.
She is survived by son, James of Aitkin, MN; stepsons, Rolland (Connie) and Rodney(Cheryl) Hess of Hill City, MN, brother, Charles (Judy) Lasater of Mason; Michigan; sister-in-law, Connie Lasater of Elizabethtown, IL; special nieces, Dr. Cindy Pratt Davis of Goreville, IL and Carolyn Sue Dale Weaver of Marion, KY, along with 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
