Obituary of Willa Oveta Lampert

It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter/sister Willa Oveta Lampert, known to her family as “Vetie.”
Oveta was born September 16,1948 to Wilburn “Mug” Lampert and Marguerite Shore Lampert in Hardin County, Illinois. She went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. She was 73.
Oveta attended Karbers Ridge Elementary School through the 5th grade. Due to her disability, she spent her remaining years at home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Lampert, and her brother-in-law, David Edward Shetler.
Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, Illinois. Family received visitors from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Pastor Stan Pennell officiated her service. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
