Obituary of Lennie Sue Volle

Lennie Sue Volle was born March 4th, 1962, in Rosiclare, IL to Gertrude and Charles Millikan and passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30th, 2022, at home with her husband, Tracy, at her side at the age of 60.
She married Tracy on June 11th, 1980, and they enjoyed 42 wonderful years together.
Lennie graduated from Rosiclare High School in 1980 and worked briefly for IDOT before becoming a mother and homemaker, the job she loved the most.
She also loved taking beautiful photographs of the Shawnee Forest. She could often be found behind the camera taking pictures of her family.
Lennie had a gorgeous and warm smile that sparkled. She had a heart of gold, an infectious laugh, and a loving soul. Lennie gave big hugs, made everyone feel comfortable, and never left without saying, “I love you”. She was happiest at home with her family relaxing, listening to Willie, and taking care of her cats.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Tracy; her son, Dr. Dax (Laila) Volle; and three granddaughters who lit up her life, Amira, Amal, and Aziza Volle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, especially her cousin Kathy Millikin, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved sister Sandy Seward.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Hardin County Funeral service in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Volle Cemetery to follow. The Family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
