Hardin County Elementary shares Christmas cheer
The Hardin County Elementary put on a wonderful Christmas program right before teachers and students took deserved time off for Christmas Break. The program titled, “A Story Book Christmas,” was held on Thursday, December 20 in Oxford Gymnasium at the school. Classes sang songs, and read and acted out parts from Christmas themed books throughout the program.
The Hardin County Elementary teachers kicked off the program singing a humorous version of “Walking in a Winter Wonderland”, called “Christmas in an Elementary School”.
Pre-Kindergarten students sang, “Christmas Cookies”. That age group always captivates the audience with their excitement for the magic of Christmas!
The Kindergarten class acted out the storybook “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” by Robert L. May and sang the song, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”. Students played the following roles — Santa: Bo Blair; Rudolph: Gabriel Littrell; Dasher: Lincoln Lane; Dancer: Sophie Spivey; Prancer: Alexandria Shoemaker; Vixen: Alyssa Griffith; Comet: Nikalyn Rinehart; Cupid: Dawsyn Jackson; Donner: Logan Mathews; and Blitzen: Weston Barnard.
