Carroll Conrad Ridley

Carroll Conrad Ridley, 78, of rural Harrisburg, formerly of Carrier Mills and Stonefort died on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Carroll was born in Carrier Mills to Carroll and Lorene (Thomas) Ridley on February 19, 1947.
He was a United States Navy Veteran – Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife; Barbara Ridley; sons, Russell (Melissa) Ridley of Albuquerque, NM and Tony (Anita) Brent of Mt. Zion, IL; daughter, Alicia Randolph of Marion, IL; grandchildren, Cameron Randolph and Caleb Randolph of Marion, IL, and Audrey Brent and Ashford Brent of Mt. Zion, IL; sister; Sue Ellen Thorpe of Carrier Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents.
As per his wishes, Carroll was cremated with burial to be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the Anchor Community Church or Take a Kid Hunting Foundation.
Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
