Frances Elaine Mayfield

Frances Elaine Mayfield, of Pittsburg, formerly of Cave-In-Rock, Illinois died on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at her home. Frances was born on July 27, 1954, in Cave-In-Rock to Ola Marshall “Pete” and Amy (Suits) Gosser.
Frances is survived by her husband, Wendell Mayfield; nieces and nephews, Jordan (James) Lampert, Jesse Lampert, Jason Prior, Jeremy (Casey) Prior, and Jennifer (Jason) Prior; two grandchildren, Jayden Lampert and Greyson Bartley; stepchildren, Cody Mayfield, Michelle, Dana, and Robbie Sturgill; brother, Marshall (Susie) Gosser; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sheila Lampert; and nephew, Joseph Lampert.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
