Obituary of Jackie Rae Patti

September 13, 1939 — March 28, 2024

Jackie Rae Patti, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, surrounded by love at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, Kentucky. Jackie was born on September 13, 1939, in Anchorage, Alaska, to the late Jack and Velma Carr.
Jackie led a life filled with compassion and a love for all living creatures. Her farm was a sanctuary where she nurtured various animals, especially her goats, midwife to many.
A devout member of Holy Spirit Ministries in Golconda and Hardin County, IL, Jackie’s faith was an integral part of her life. In 2015 she ministered in nursing homes with John, her husband and love of her life. She found solace and purpose in serving others through ministry work and engaging in Bible studies and planning various church activities. Psalms 27:14 held a special place in her heart and guided her through life’s challenges.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Patti, also known as Pastor John, of Golconda, Illinois; son, Jessie Carr (Cory Anne) of Idaho; three step-sons, Joshua A. Patti of Illinois, John J. Patti Jr. of Indiana, and Christopher D. Patti of Illinois; three daughters, Doris Bennett of Illinois, Donna Enfield of Minnesota, and Kathy Burns of Texas; step-daughter, Kymberly M. Patti of Kentucky; three brothers, Thomas Carr (Suzanne) of North Carolina, Donald Carr of California, and Daniel Carr of California; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her cherished Beagle dog, Little Bit.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew Enfield and Mariah Page.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, at San Damiano with Pastor John presiding. The service will begin at 12 noon.
Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Patti family.
