Obituary of Judy Carolyn Jackson

Judy Carolyn Jackson, 75, of Rosiclare, IL, died peacefully, Friday, November 24th, 2023 surrounded by family.
She was retired and had worked various jobs, including the Hardin County General Hospital, where she later volunteered in the gift shop. She was also known for Judy’s Resale, which she ran for many years.
She was also a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Jackson of Metropolis, IL; sons, Jeff (Tammy) Jackson of Paducah, KY and Justin (Margie) Jackson of Metropolis, IL; sister, Rose Glore of Salem, KY; sister, Dottie (Hubert) Volle of Golconda, IL; sister, Leslie Weaver of WI; brother, Jason (Jessica) Holbrook of Belvidere, IL; granddaughter Brooke (Dylan) Humphrey of Paducah, KY; grandson, Samuel (Cara) Jackson of Independence MO; grandson, Kendrick Jackson, of Clarksville, TN; granddaughter, Brenna (Davis) Hopkins of Metropolis, IL; granddaughter Julie Jackson of Bloomington, IL; granddaughter Becca (Nick) Bell of Metropolis, IL; granddaughter, Kaylee Jackson of Bloomington, IL; grandson, Nate (Kacie) Jackson of Fancy Farm, KY; and granddaughter, Sophie Jackson of Bloomington, IL; great-granddaughters, Aubreeana Jackson, Savannah Jackson, Joslynn Jackson, Vada Humphrey, and Vivian Humphrey and great-grandson, Levi Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Holbrook and Elberta Collier; adoptive parents, Jewell and Myrtle Holbrook; and sister, Marie Potts.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home, 226 N. 4th St., Paducah, KY, followed by graveside service and interment at Adams Cemetery, 850 N. 1050 East Rd., Cave-in-Rock, IL.

    I knew Judy Jackson while I worked at the Hardin County Hospital Gift Shop.
