Obituary of Gary Lee Vaughn

Gary Lee Vaughn, 72, of Rosiclare IL passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at 1:09 a.m. at Hardin County General Hospital. Gary was born on November 8, 1950, to Elbert and Loeva Cox Vaughn in Moline, IL.
Gary married Mary Elaine Humm on April 5th, 1975.
Gary was employed at Golconda Civilian Conservation Center (Job Corp) from 1975 until his retirement. Turkey and deer hunting were some of his favorite things, along with an occasional jeep ride.
Survivors include his sons, Ryan (Natalie) Vaughn of Elizabethtown, IL and Brandon (Aleshia) Vaughn of Golconda, IL; grandchildren, Raegan, Kingston and Porter Vaughn. Gary is also survived by his former wife, Mary Elaine Vaughn of Rosiclare, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Loeva Vaughn.
Memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Brother Harold Miller will conduct the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lavender Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
