Obituary of Julie Kay Street

Julie Kay Street, age 50, of Rosiclare, Illinois, passed away at 8:25 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Rosiclare Rehab and Health Care Center in Rosiclare, Illinois.
Julie was born on October 31, 1972, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Shirley (Edwards) Street. She graduated from Hardin County High School in Elizabethtown, with the class of 1990.
Julie was a licensed practical nurse for several years. She was a loving and caring person and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
Julie enjoyed crocheting and visiting with family and friends.
Julie is survived by her daughter, Kayley Grace Vickers of Rosiclare, Illinois; mother, Shirley Street of Murphysboro, Illinois; siblings, Chuck Street, Amanda Goins, Scott Street and Eva Annable; and bonus mother, Betty Ashford of Rosiclare, Illinois.
Julie was preceded in death by her son, Edward Allen Street on January 3, 2000; and her bonus dad, Dewayne Ashford.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, Illinois. Funeral services celebrating Julie’s life will follow the visitation, with Joseph Dutton officiating. Interment will be in the Peters Creek Cemetery near Cave-in-Rock, Illinois. In the loving memory of Julie, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home, to assist with expenses. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.
