Obituary of Adam E. Miller

Adam E. Miller, 48, of Tallahassee, FL went into eternal rest on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born in Eldorado, IL, on June 1, 1974.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Owen and Icy Miller; maternal grandparents Howard Turner and Lillian Turner Conkle; three uncles and an aunt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Miller; son, Cole Miller; parents, Bishop Harold and Ruth Miller; sister, Faith Blair (Todd); nephew, Tyler Blair (Madison); niece, Allison Blair; and many childhood friends and family, and coworkers who became more like family.
Adam graduated from high school in 1992 and continued his education, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Economic Crime Management in 2012.
He was a lieutenant with the Tallahassee Police Department, serving in law enforcement for almost 30 years. He was a certified fraud examiner, certified financial crimes investigator, and a certified public pension trustee.
Adam enjoyed to spend his extra time in the great outdoors hunting or fishing. He loved playing and watching basketball and was also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He became a Seminole fan after moving to Tallahassee in 1997.
He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation was held Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home Chapel in Tallahassee, Florida.
He was a member of the Honey Comb Church of God in Herod, IL, where services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
