From 1970-1992, he served as pastor of Levee Pond Church in Cave-in-Rock, IL. He later was associate pastor at Friendly Regional Church of God in Marion, IL, and until his passing, associate pastor of Abundant Life serving alongside his good friend, Pastor Jimmy Russell.
