Wilborn Lee Briley

Wilborn Lee Briley, 74, of Cave in Rock, IL, formerly of Fairfield, died at 2 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2022, at Rosiclare Rehab and Health Care Center. He was born on August 18, 1947, in Wayne County, IL to Wilborn and Louise (West) Briley.
He was retired after 35 years at Airtex Products in Fairfield. Lee was also an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Lee is survived by his wife, Rhonda Briley of Cave in Rock, IL; daughter, Leah (Gary) Hinkle of Louisville, IL; grandchildren, Arren Hinkle of Clay City, IL, Emma Briley of Dupont, WA, and Anna Briley of Dupont, WA; great-grandson, Brantley Hinkle; brothers, Joe (Darlene) Briley of Statesboro, GA and Larry (Jenny) Briley of Marion, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tony Briley; granddaughte, Andrea Hinkle; brother, Virgil Briley; and sisters, Mildred Mason and Margaret Smith.
Visitation for Wilborn Lee Briley will be held on Tuesday, March 29th from 5-7 p.m. at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. He will be cremated following the visitation and his ashes interred in Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield at a later date.
