Bonnie Kay Carter, 79 of Harrisburg, died at 3:57 a.m., February 13, 2022 at her residence in Harrisburg.
Bonnie was born on April 15, 1942 in Hardin County, Illinois to the late Hillis and Oddie (Page) Price Holbrook.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Harrisburg.
Bonnie is survived by six children, Kathy (Jack) Ferrell of Harrisburg, Sandra
(Brett) Gidcumb of Massillon, Ohio; Belinda Ditterline of Owensboro, Kentucky; Jeanette (Calvin) Stone of Springfield, Illinois; Christy (Ronnie) Bryant Hughes of Harrisburg; and Justin (Tiffany) Ditterline of Carmi, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Laura (Billy) Hogan of Springfield, Illinois; sister, Ethel (Doodle) Tolbert of Lake Zurich, Illinois; sister, Barbara Blackburn of Harrisburg; brother, Billy (Sharon) Price of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother Bobby Price of Peoria, Illinois; brother, Johnny (Susan) Price of Brimfield, Illinois; sister, Beth (David) Weaver of East Peoria, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; and husband, Elmer “Bud” Doggett; Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Lovirn Spivey.
Graveside services for Bonnie Kay Carter will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Peter’s Creek Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Rev. Blake Clayton will officiate.
