Memorial services for Paul Vinyard and Byron Vinyard

The family of the late Paul Vinyard and late Byron Vinyard will hold a memorial service for the two men on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Hardin County. Paul Vinyard died July 22, 2017. His son, Byron Vinyard, died in February of this year.
The service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, rural Elizabethtown, Illinois, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at the church cemetery. A meal will be provided by the Catholic women afterward. Paul and Phyllis Vinyard attended the church with their sons when they resided in Hardin County.
Paul Vinyard was an employee of the Rural Electrification Association for over 50 years. Byron Vinyard, a graduate of Rosiclare Community High School, was self employed. He lived at Steeleville, IL. He and his brother, Kevin Vinyard, operated a chimney sweep business together for several years.
The Memorial Service is open to the public.

Byron Clay Vinyard, 71, of Steelville, Illinois passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1:50 a.m. at the VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. He was born on April 5, 1950 in Eldorado Illinois to Paul and Phyliss (Lawrence) Vinyard.
Byron was a Navy Veteran serving from 1969 to 1974.
Bryon was survived by his father, Paul; 2 sons, Lucas Vinyard and Brandon Vinyard, 4 grandchildren, Isabella, Theodore, Claire and Lily, 2 brothers, Kevin Vinyard and Christian Vinyard; nieces, Michele Bartels and Patti Orlovich.
He was preceded by his mother, Phyliss; and brothers, Sean and Weylin.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, Illinois with visitation Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Father Vincent will officiate with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Military Rites.
