Obituary of Jimmy Joe Humm

Jimmy Joe Humm, 69, of Rosiclare, IL passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Rosiclare Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Jim worked for Bob’s Food Mart for 44 years as the butcher. He was head over the Fluorspar Festival Car Show for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. In 2019 he was honored to be chosen as the Grand Marshal of the Fluorspar Day Parade.
Jim loved to spend time working on his classic ’39 Chevy truck that he won many awards for. He was a very kind and loving man that would do anything for anyone.
Jim left behind a sister, Paula Humm Duncan; a niece, Marie Adams; and two nephews, Tyler Short and Benton Adams all of Harrisburg.
A funeral will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elizabethtown on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Joseph Catholic Church would be appreciated.

The family of Jimmy Joe Humm would like to thank the Rosiclare Rehabilitation and Health Care Center staff for taking wonderful care of Jimmy Joe. You all are fantastic.

    Jimmy Joe was a rare individual. He saw the world with open eyes–its good and bad. He treated everyone the same, as if all people and all things were good.
