Obituary of Alberta R. Mitchell

Alberta R. Mitchell, age 73, of Rosiclare, IL passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. Alberta was born on July 28, 1948 to Albert Edward and Jewell Madeline (Carmen) Carr in Elizabethtown, IL.
Alberta was a member of the Rosiclare First Baptist Church. She loved to RV, go dancing, go for drives and girl trips, however, her biggest joy was spending time with her family.
Alberta is survived by her husband of 41 years, George Mitchell of Rosiclare, IL; three daughters, Barbara Marshall of Rosiclare, IL, Theresa Cordero of Nebraska, Denise (William) Morton of Springfield, MO; two sons, John Marshall of Antioch, IL, Jerry (Melody) Mitchell of Fontana, CA; five grandchildren, Zachery Marshall, Ian Marshall, Symphanne (Chris) Hornsby, Isaac Mitchell, Harmony (Connor) Brown; and one brother, Albert Carr of Dahlgren, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori Marshall; grandson, Stephen Marshall; and two sisters, Roberta Carr and Delberta Cashmore.
A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Rosiclare First Baptist Church in Rosiclare, IL. Bro. Roy Lee Baker will conduct the service. Inurnment will follow at the Empire Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL.
