Easter L. (Millikan) Douglas passed away Monday, March 9th, 2020, at the age of ninety-one. Easter was born on April 8th, 1928, to the late Roy T. Millikan and Mabel (Adam) Millikan.
Easter grew up in Cave In Rock and married her high school sweetheart, Jay T. Douglas, in 1944. Easter was an accountant for the Eldorado Furniture Co. for twenty plus years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling with friend Marge Rilying, and enjoyed dancing and roller-skating in her earlier years of life. Easter had years of enjoyment with her cat named Tom.
She enjoyed her grandchildren as well as her great-grandchildren, as she was affectionately called “Grammie”. There are six grandchildren: Jamie Nicole (Douglas) Gerald and her beloved husband, Brandon Gerald; Jason Douglas and his beloved wife, April; Leah (Leyah) S. Douglas; Jennifer (Genet) Rubie; Leah Genet; Alicia Jackson and seven great-grandchildren.
Beloved Easter is survived by two sons, Gary A. Douglas and David J. Douglas; two daughters-in-law, Janie Douglas and Billie Marie (Salfen) Douglas; and beloved niece Brenda Justice.
In addition to her parents, stepmother Mildred, and husband Jay, Easter was preceded in death by her siblings, Alma (Rizner), Margorie Millikan, Elis, Dempsey; and nephew Dempsey “Bub” Millikan Jr.
A memorial service for Easter will be held at the Hardin County Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL Saturday, November 13th, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay T. Douglas and her parents, Roy and Mabel Millikin.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, Illinois.
