Obituary of Sheila Marie (Gosser) Lampert

4/12/1962 – 07/25/2021

Sheila was born April 12, 1962. She was the daughter of Ola M. (Pete) and Amy (Suits) Gosser.
She ended her journey on this earth on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 6:09 p.m. at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana after a long illness. Sheila was a Christian by faith and is now in the arms of Jesus.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 32 years, Terry Lampert; sons, Jeremy (Casey) Prior, Jason Prior, Joeseph Lampert, Jesse Lampert; daughters, Jennifer Prior (Jason Ison) and Jordan Lampert (James Bartley); stepson, Gary Stone; brother, Marshall (Fredia) Gosser; and sister, Elaine (Wendell) Mayfield. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Dawson Prior, Rachel Prior, Jaxon Moore, and Jayden Lampert.
Sheila was a lifelong resident of Hardin County, Illinois until the last three years of her life when she lived with her daughter in Eldorado, Illinois. She dedicated her life to her six children and any other children in need. She was like a second mom to Sara Layton, Heather Johnson, Natalie Foshee and Robbie Mills, all whom she loved very much.
Sheila was a beautiful soul. She loved God, her family and friends unconditionally. Her passing will leave a hole in their lives that can never be filled.
A celebration of life potluck for Sheila will be held at the Harris Pruitt building in Harrisburg, Illinois at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Please bring a dish and join us.
