Bertis Austin

Bertis Austin, 96, of Rosiclare IL, died Sunday, February 7, 2021. Bertis served in the Pacific during WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his son, Paul (Lisa) Austin of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Sara Austin of Indianapolis, IN and Devin Austin of Evansville, IN; great-grandchildren Brenna and Emma Dorsch of Indianapolis, IN; sister-in-law, Regina Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Austin; parents, Omar and Mary Austin; and his brother, Glen Austin.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2021 at Fluorine Cemetery in Rosiclare, IL. Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Due to weather, the service was rescheduled for Monday, March 1, 2021.
