Make an appointment for upcoming Pre-K screenings
Hardin County School is providing a screening program for all birth to 5 year old children who are not yet in school, and are not eligible for kindergarten. This fall’s preschool screenings will be held Tuesday, October 6t, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the school. Screening will be completed by appointment only in order to cut down on wait time and allow for social distancing. Children over two years old and parents will be also required to wear masks while inside the building.
The screening will include checks of hearing, vision, speech, and other developmental areas. This screening is free and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. This screening is required for eligibility into Hardin County’s Pre-K program.
Head Start personnel will also be present to explain their program and services.
