Southern Seven Reports Five Recovered and No New Cases in Region

 Southern Seven Health Department (S7HD) confirms five more individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in the Southern Seven region:  One is from Hardin County.  One is from Pulaski County.  And the remaining three are from Union County.  This brings the total number of recovered individuals, to date, with COVID-19 to 16.

Southern Seven confirms no new cases of COVID-19 in the Southern Seven region.

Southern Seven Health Department will report on the number of confirmed positive cases as more cases appear. Currently, S7HD is reporting a total of 37 cases and no deaths.  The number of individuals confirmed, to date, with COVID-19 within the Southern Seven Counties:

Southern Seven Health Department will not release specific information about individuals with COVID-19 beyond their sex and age range, unless ordered by the court.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Illinois has risen dramatically in the past week.  According to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), in Illinois there were 1,980 new individuals with COVID-19 identified on April 27 bringing the confirmed total in the State to 45,883 individuals, with 1,983 deaths.
