Christmas Coloring Contest at Rosiclare Post Office
Starting Friday, December 6, kids can enter a coloring contest with the Rosiclare Postal Service. Kids can pick up the coloring sheet at the Rosiclare Post Office, Main Street Rosiclare. On the back of the page, kids will need to put their name, age, and a phone number they can be reached if chosen as the winner. A random drawing will be held on December 23 and a prize will be awarded by Postmaster Pamala Bynum.
Write to Santa and get a return letter from him
Good boys and girls may mail letters to Santa starting Friday, Dec. 6 and continuing through December 16. Rosiclare Postmaster Pamala Bynum said that if children put a return address on their letter and envelope and mail it, Santa will write them back. Santa template letters are available at the Rosiclare Post Office, if desired. Do not place Santa letters in the drop box or mail slot, they MUST be handed over the counter during operation hours. Santa’s Magic Mailbox will be set up near the counter. Children who place their letters in a small envelope (6 3/4″ wide x 3 1/2 inches tall) may operate the Magic Mailbox and see that their letter went to Santa. Larger envelopes may be handed over the counter to Debra Cubley or Pamala Bynum.
