Glendell Clinton Butterworth
Glendell Clinton Butterworth, 84, of Paducah, died at 6:10 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah, Kentucky. Glendell was the son of Sidney and Alta Butterworth who preceded him in death.
He was in the United States Navy. He retired from Southeastern Rural Electric Coop in Eldorado, Illinois in 1999. He was a member and served as a deacon of the Elizabethtown Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife Donna (Pierson) Butterworth of Paducah; daughter, Susan (Bret) Cude of Gilbertsville; granddaughter Cassy Cude of Jackson, Tennessee; and sister, Dorrice (Charles) Leake of Mexico, Missouri.
Graveside services were held at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10:00 am with Pastor Ed Lafferty officiating. No visitation was held.
