June received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing and lived for her family and for caring for others. She was always a very loving wife, mother, and Granny. She enjoyed keeping her house and heart open for “her kids”. She always went above and beyond for each.
June was called home to be an angel of God on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in her home, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Darwyn Daymon of Cave-In-Rock, IL; children, Darlene (Shane) Winters of Cave-In-Rock, IL, Denise (Jeff) Jones of Equality, IL, Justin Daymon of Cave-In-Rock, IL, and Desirae (Mark) Smock of Cave-In-Rock, IL; grandchildren, Shayna, Colton, Tyler and Brayden Winters, Dakota and Danika Forrester, Lyssa Jones, Jordan and Jaicee Daymon, Kymberlyn Sims and Marissa and Mariah Smock; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Markus, Aiden, Blakely, Remmington and Jensen; brother, Dennis Lampert; and numerous other family and friends.

June was a wonderful woman, more than words can ever explain. She touched so many lives and impacted everyone with her huge heart and loving nature. She will be truly missed until we meet again.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Beavers Cemetery in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment to follow. Brother Joe Mills will be officiating.
