This solemn occasion allowed all in attendance to show respect, support, honor for the veterans who served our country. Most importantly at this occasion, honor was given to those who lost their lives in active service.
Veteran Bro. Roy Baker led the service. Bill Williams’ grandkids led the Pledge of Allegiance. Williams read the poem, “Ode to a Veteran”. Bro. Baker led the crowd in the song, “God Bless America.” Names were read of all Hardin County veterans who never came home.
