Obituary of Maxine Louise Harrison

Maxine Louise Harrison (Constantine) was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 15, 1935 and passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Maxine, formerly of Herod, Illinois, resided in Ely, Nevada.
She is survived by her children, Bill Harrison, of Everett, Washington, Joe Harrison (Stormy) of Herod, Illinois, Reishel Toelke (Bret) of Kershaw, South Carolina, and Dianne Dare (Andy) of Rosiclare, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda and Josephine; her parents, Maxine Cahow Mitchell and Paul Constantine; and brother, Donald Constantine.
Maxine had a great sense of humor and enjoyed “playing the slots,” bingo, bowling, puzzles, puzzle books and was an avid reader. Maxine worked as a waitress, and then became a stay at home mother.
Maxine’s wishes were to donate her body to science at the University of Utah’s Body Donor Program. A Memorial Service will be held at Herod Springs Baptist Church, Herod, Illinois, on May 25, 2019 from 4-6 p.m.
