Obituary of Forest Ray “Buck” Simmons

Forest Ray “Buck” Simmons, 85, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died May 16, 2019 at Rosiclare Health Rehab and Health Care Center in Rosiclare, IL.
Survivors include his son, Freddie Ray (Terry) Simmons, of The Villages, FL; half-brother, Joe Edmondson of Sturgis, KY; grandchildren, Tracy (Neil) Hamon of Aviston, IL and Emily (Jeff) Holohan of Watseka, IL; and great-grandchildren, Ally and Mason Hamon, and Layla and Camille Holohan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Simmons; and parents, William Gregory and Dortha Mae Simmons.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday May 18, 2019 at Potters Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Potters Church.
