Preschool screenings (birth to 5) to be held at Hardin County School
Hardin County School is providing a screening program for all birth to 5 year old children who are not yet in school, and who will not be eligible for kindergarten in the fall. This year’s preschool screenings will be held Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 from 8:30-2:30. Screening will be completed by appointment only in order to cut down on wait time.
The screening will include checks of hearing, vision, speech, and other developmental areas. This screening is free and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. This screening is required for eligibility into Hardin County’s Pre-K program in the fall, and Head Start personnel will also be present to explain their program and services.
Please call the school at 287-7601 to make an appointment.
